Tips and Tricks

Train and care for the dog in front of you

We, at Odyssey, will strive to present information in the form/format of pros and cons, not right and wrong; we believe everyone should make decisions based on what is best for them, their situation, and their unique dog(s). We may, at times, reference our favorites or preferences, but that doesn't make them the right choice for you, just our choice that you can consider.  Click the drop down categories for more information.

Dog Friendly Locations

The following list are restaurants, businesses, and parks that are dog friendly. All require that your dog be always on a leash and does not bother other customers. Please be considerate of the establishment and other patrons and clean up if necessary.

*Don't forget to bring a water dish to keep your pup hydrated, a blanket or something as a barrier for them to lay on, and an activity or treat to entertain your dog(s) while you eat.

Area dog parks and other parks:

*Disclosure: dog parks are generally not recommended by Odyssey; there are concerns with unacceptable dog and human behaviors that put everyone at risk and there are often health concerns related to feces not being properly removed from the play area. With that being said, sometimes a dog park is the only viable opportunity for your dog(s) to run and be dogs, so please be aware and advocate for your dog's best interest.
